Dick means "thick" or "fat" in german. Here in Austria, we call them Schwedenbomben. The german Dickmanns are actually a crude copy of the original.

They don't seem very crude to me. I mean besides the name. :P
What are the originals like? I can't see anything being changed without making it quite a different product... and I like these.
Maybe if they were made of ice cream... :D

Oh, and I'm actually eating a generic brand, which calls them "Schokoküsse".

I was out shopping today, and I found a different brand that appeared Swedish. I had to try them out, and they are indeed a little bit better... although it turns out that that was the Danish flag on the box, and Danish was the first language listed on the box (with English, then German). I really need to work on my Scandanavian countries. They're harder to tell apart than Linux distributions. :P
